Classes will be broken at superintendent's discretion. Cash prize to champion. Entry fee is $5.00 per lamb and is due online August 1, 2024. Animals must have been born and raised in Curry County and entered in the Curry County Junior Livestock Show.

Wether Dams entered must be ewe lambs (born fall 2023-spring 2024) and must be owned by June 15, 2024, and must be validated/tagged during county tag-in according to NMLB guidelines. Dams will be weighed and classified at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024. Wether Dams will not be eligible to sell in the Jr. Market Livestock Sale. Wether Dams shown in the market show will not be eligible to show in the breeding show. Wether Dam and Wether Doe show will be held immediately following the Curry County Bred Lamb Show on Thursday August 15. Wether Dam classes will be broken by breed and weight based on number of entries.  Dams will be slick shorn (to a uniform length no more than 1/4" of wool). Wether Dams are eligible to be shown in the County Bred Lamb Show. Entry fee is $5.00 per lamb and is due online August 1, 2024.
